2015 Hyundai Genesis Sedan Tuned to 550 HP for SEMA

Tuning company ARK Performance will show off a tuned version of the 2015 Hyundai Genesis sedan at this year's Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) show in Las Vegas. The modified car is called the Genesis AR550, with the number denoting the engine's output.
Mechanical changes to the 2015 Hyundai Genesis consist of adding a supercharger, an ARK exhaust, a new engine computer, and a new driveshaft to the 5.0-liter V-8 engine, boosting its output by 130 hp to a total of 550 hp. ARK Performance hasn't only paid attention to straight-line speed, however, as the Genesis also receives upgraded Brembo brakes, ARK-designed anti-roll bars and bracing, and new wheels shod in Nitto NT05 performance tires.
As seen in this preview rendering, numerous visual upgrades are claimed to give the 2015 Hyundai Genesis a "more aggressive appearance" and an interior with "the opulence of a private business jet." A new body kit, complete with carbon fiber fascias and side skirts, helps make the Genesis appear wider, while ARK Performance claims that diamond-stitched Katzkin leather seats and door panels make the car's cabin resemble that of the aforementioned jet.
When the ARK Performance 2015 Hyundai Genesis makes its debut at this year's SEMA show, it will share the stage with a Hyundai Sonata tuned by Bisimoto to produce a Challenger Hellcat-beating 708 hp. Both cars will be revealed publicly at the Las Vegas show on November 4 at 9 a.m. local time.
