Most of these subtle updates focus around the exterior, as the refreshed Mini Countryman gains new wheels, a new grille, and three new exterior colors. Countryman models equipped with the All4 all-wheel-drive system sport a few new visual cues, including silver side sills and front and rear under guards that try their best to look like skid plates. As with all Mini models, the Countryman is available with a wide range of customizable accents, like various roof color, mirror cap, and hood stripe options. One new exterior package is the Piano Black option, which includes dark headlight and taillight surrounds and dark finishes on the wheel arches, pillars, and grille, replacing chrome in those places. New LED foglights and updated badges on S models round out the visual changes on the outside, and the barely-changed interior gains a chrome finish for the climate controls and new anthracite-colored dials.
The Mini Countryman continues to be offered in four models: the standard Cooper, the Cooper S, the all-wheel-drive Cooper S All4, and the performance-oriented John Cooper Works which comes standard with all-wheel drive. Mini has not yet released pricing for the updated 2015 model, but it shouldn’t change much from the current Mini Countryman which starts at $22,895 for the Cooper, $26,495 for the Cooper S, $28,195 for the Cooper S All4, and $35,745 for the Countryman John Cooper Works.
